Last Dance...

Tonight I have my possibly last fraternity date party of my college experience. My boyfriend, Daniel, is graduating in 2 weeks and will no longer be an active member of his frat.  Their Spring theme party is Riverboat Cocktail and I'm definitely going to miss it.

I've had so many fun times with his fraternity and his friends. I'm really going to miss them and I can't wait for those weekends he will be visiting this Fall.

On another note...

I'm so excited for the new dress I'll be wearing tonight.... will def post a picture soon of it!

Tumblr vs. Blogspot

Have I made the wrong choice? Lately I've noticed most of my favorite blogs are powered by tumblr and I've started to feel left out... and then I came across this picture.

Cocktails!

Last night I tried my first Skinny Girl Margarita! As I've blogged before I am a HUGEEE fan of Bethenny Frankel! I didn't think the bar I was at was savvy enough to know how to make it so I pulled up the recipe on my blackberry to give the bar tender some guidance. (Side note: the bar tender added a splash of orange juice and I love love loved it, it took all of the bite off the tequila and made it sweeter). I recommend it to everyone!

Her little limbs were so precious and she was asleep for most of the time but her eyes are the periwinkle color of her dress! Absolutely stunning!

This weekend I bought a new pair of sunglasses at home from my favorite sunglass boutique Solstice!

They're marc by marc jacobs and I'm obsessed AND they didn't break my piggy bank~ yay!

The sales associate told me I looked "glamorous but fierce" haha

 And of course when I go online... they're on sale

Today was so crazy and hectic. I met with many more people than I had planned to for my interviews and I timed it wrong and got out of my first interview with only 15 mintues to get across midtown to my second! I luckily made it on time, but I have to say it is very hard to go from one interview to the next. Your brain has to change gears completely and with little time you really have to focus. I love the hustle and bustle of the city! Hopefully I will be working in NYC all summer and will get to enjoy more of it. Today was 70 and sunny, a perfect day to run around Manhattan. My dad and I had lunch at Oyster bar in Grand Central Station-- perfect for Good Friday! I thought it had delicious seafood and a really cool set up, definitely a place to check out. Hope everyone else had a great Friday!

Flying home for Easter weekend! I wish I looked as fly as Jackie O ^ but I'm much more comfortable in skinny jeans, silver sandals, and my green flowery top. This weekend I hope to: get a mani/pedi with my mom and buy a new pair of sunglasses! I will be in NYC Friday interviewing for internships this summer... wish me luck!
